- Continuing to read Theft by Finding.
- I started The Lathe of Heaven by Ursula K. Le Guin. It’s ok. So short that I will surely follow through. Maybe it felt original at the time of publishing, but I’m not nearly as challenged as I was in The Dispossessed. And that’s obviously, so obviously, about an out of date paradigm too.
- Podcasts
- Panic World on Area 51 and NJ drones. Good contrast for today’s nightmare. Guest is the Atlas Obscura guy.
- Several other recent episodes from Panic World. All good.
- Music
- What a resource: Discogs Digs on ambient albums. Via Lars Christian.
- Couple of articles: If you liked Selected Ambient Works 85-92 and Essential Ambient Albums: 1978 - Today. I’ll report back.
- Synthygate Ava Eva was good. Kind of French touch, I think?
- Caroline Chang Ambient Techno To Zen Out To was good. I’ll seek out more of this.
- Carbon Based Lifeforms Live at Ozora Stage 2022 was excellent. More, please!
- Martin Stürtzer Space Ambient.
- Aphex Twin, fan made Selected Ambient Works Vol. 3.
- Gaia Cafe Fall ambient mix. Wish they made more.
- Something completely different. Nao Sogabe ambient lute. I think it looped at some point, maybe multiple times.
- Another different thing. Bansury Music, Indian flute.
